AN ARMISTICE DAY PAGEANT
PRESENTED AT METHODrST
CHURCH.
Dr. W. H. LaPrade, Presiding
Elder of the Augusta District,
preached at the Methodist church at
the 11:30 o'clock service Sunday
morning. His discourse was a help
ful one ,as he talked of the happi
ness and joy that comes in the life
of a Christian.
At the conclusion of the gerricea

Peace Pageant was presented. Mrs.

Funeral services for Mrs. Arthur
Elian, who died in Battle Creek,
Mvhigan. Friday, were held h>*ro
Wednesday at Joe Moore’n Chapel,
Rev. J. M. Guest officiating.
Mr 1 . Elian is remembered as Mi**
Frankie Resseau and was a gradu
ate nurse of the miedgeville State
Hospital. She was connected with
the City Hospital several months and
about a year ago went to Battle
Creek.
The deceased is survived by her
husband, mother and father, Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur J. Resseau, of Hard
wick. and one sister Bfirr*. Ch»A But-
terworth, of this city.
