relatives. While she is absent from

Miss Alice Vaughan has returned
to New Orleans, after a *. isit to Mr.,
and Mrs. T. C. Brantley and chil
dren. She was accompanied by Mr.
Brantley and children. Billy and
Betty, who spent several days in
New Orleans.

T. Hines are expected to arrive at
home the latter part of this week
from Blowing Rock. North Carolina,
where thev have been spending the
summer. Mr. Hines spent the past
week with them.

Mr. H. R. Gordon, Milledgeville,
Georgia, has completed his course
in Practical and Theoretical Radio
and has been awarded his diploma
hv the National Radio Institute of
Washington, D. C. He finished the
prescribed Course of technical
studies with creditable grades and
is to be congratulated upon
achievement.
