The Young Peoples League of the
Presbyterian church will have a pic
nic swimming party Saturday after

Tomato Aspic
2 cups tomato juice
1-2 onion minced
1 cup chopped celery
1-2 teaspoon salt
1 small bottle .staffed olives (chop-
1 green pepper cut fine
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons Gelatin
2 tablespoons cold water
Soak Gelatin in cold water then
dissolve over boiling water. Mix
other ingredients, add Gelatin ar' -
chill. Serve on chrisp lettuce with
hitc sauce (thick)

1 egg .volk well beaten
1-4 teaspoon celery salt
I 1 egg slightly beaten
i l-2 cup cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons cold water
Combine chicken, white sauce, cjg
[yolk, lemon juice and seasoning.
I Form in cones or balls, roll in
crumbs, dip in egg to which has
been added water. Dip in crumbs,
fry in deep fat. Drain on absorbient
paper.
Banana Whip
12 marshmallows chopped
1 cup orange or grape juice
1 large apple grated
1 ripe banana mashed
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup whipped cream
2 tablespoons sugar
6 candied cherries
Combine Marshmallows and fruit
juice, let stand until Marshmallows
are soft. Add apple, banana and
lemon juice. Beat until light.

Milky Wav Ice Cream
3 chocolate milky way bars
1-2 c. boiling water
2 c. milk
4 t. flour
1-2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 pt. cream

Cut candy into small pieces, add
water and let simmer until candy
melts. Heat milk slightly, mix sugar
and flour and add to well beaten
eggs, cook until thick stirring to
keep mixture from lumping. When
thick, remove from stove, add melt
ed candy, cool, and fold in cream
stiffly whipped. Place in refrigerator.
Stir twice while freezing.
Scalloped Oyster?
1 pt. oysters
2 boxes crackers
1 pt. milk
2 eggs and generous amount of
Salt
Grease bakbig dish and add n
layer of oysters, then a layer of
crackers, and dots of butter and so
on until all is used. Boat egg ?•*-'
milk together. Pour over the whole
and bake until golden brown.
Cheese Balls
1 1-2 c. grated cheese
1 t. flour
1 t. salt
Dash of pepper
Whites of three- eggs
Mix cheese, flour, salt, and pepper.
Add to egg whites that have been
beaten stiff. Shape into balls roll
in fine cracker crumbs. Fry in deep
fat until brown.
