Mbs Clara Mae Almand was guest
of honor at a supper given for her
Monday night by her Sunday School
teacher. Mrs. C. B. McCulIaT. A
silver bowl of blue larkspur was the
centerpiece ci the table, and painted
place cards in pink and blue marked
the places of the guests. Those in
vitee were: Misses Louise and La-
vada Almand. Mrs. Lucius Steven
son. Miss Olive Meadows, past presi
dent of the Philathca class. Miss
Anne Gibson, president. Miss Lillian
Dollar. Miss Billie Abercrombie, and
Miss Mary Frances Smith. The honor
guest has served for several years
as a class officer.

Mrs. Weatners graduated from the
Georgia State College for Women
and for the past year has been
teaching. Her delightful personality
has won for her many friends
throughout the state.
Mr. Weathers came here a few
years ago as assistant manager of
Miller’s Store. He went to Louis
ville a few months ago as the man
ager of the Miller store in that city.
While in Milledgeville he made a
host of friends.

STUDENTS TO VISIT ATLANTA

corporations in that city. Mrs. J. T.
Terry, teacher of the class, will have
the group in charge.
The class will visit Rich’s, the
Citizens & Southern National Bank,
the Georgia Power Co., and the
Retail Credit Bureau. TYiey will be
