has been ordered to the staff and
command school at Fort Levenworth.

has been dismissed from the City
Hospital after a major operation.

on Friday for a major operation.

Ga., has been dismissed from the
City Hospital after a major opera-

Miami, Fla., who were visiting Mr.
and Mrs. E. W. Nash, has been dis
missed from the City Hospital. The
severe bums caused from a hot iron
are now well.
Miss Gillie Hutchins has shown
marked improvement during the

Paul Ellison, a prominent educa
tor. Mrs. Teresi and children and
Col. and Mrs. Joe Jenkins accom
panied him cn the trip.

their home on South Liberty street,
Monday afternoon, complimenting
Miss Coressa Eberhart whose mar
riage to Mr. Wallace Chamblee is
taking place today at the Presby
terian church.
Four tables were arranged for
playing.
Dainty colonial nosegays of mints
were on the tables. A bridal party
at an alter entwined with coral vine
adorned the buffet.
A novelty week-end case was pre
sented to the guest of honor. High
and low score prizes were won by
Miss Louise Jeanes and Miss Laura
Louise Winslow.
A delicious frozen salad course was
served.
The Misses Thaxton were assisted
by their mother, Mrs. Ossie Thax
ton, Miss Alice McCraw and Mrs.
McCombs Hines.
