CAPT J. YI. ENNIS MAY RUN
FOR PRISON COMMISSION
Capt. .T. H. Ennis, former Presi
dent of the Georgia Senate, former
Mayor of Milledeexillo. at present
■Representative in the Georgia Legis
lature from Baldwin County having
either served in the Legislature or
in the State Senate for the past
twenty-five or thirty years, isscri-
ouslv c tnsidering making the race
frr State Prison Commissioner in
the primary next year which be
came known here today. When inter
viewed Capt. Ennis would make no
definite commitment, but admitted
that considerable pressure has bc-en
brought to bear on him for the past
several years to ask for a place cn
the State Prison Commission, that
if he i= going to run .ill the com
ing year is the time to do it and
that he has the matter under con-
. Wim
the present Prison Cominis;
who will be up for re-election
year.
Second, Calotabs arc diuretic to the
kidneys, promoting the elimination
of cold poisons from the system. Thus
Calotabs serve the double purpose of
a purgative and diuretic, both of
which are needed in the treatment
of colds.
Calotabs are quite economical;
only twenty-five cents for the family
package, ten cents for the trial
package, (Adv.)

HOW NEW KIND OF TIRE PROTECTS
YOU AGAINST HIGH SPEED BLOW-OUTS
• "This business of riding race horses isn’t all thrills and
glory,” SONNY WORKMAN says. “You’ve got to expec:
plenty of bumps. I’ve crashed into fences and been trampled
under pounding hooves. But my worst sniil wasn’t as bad as
that blow-out I had. 1 was driving to Miami, when the tiro
blew out. My car swerved and shot of! the road. And I still
thank my lucky stars I came through it alive. But I’m taking
vo more chances with blow-outs—-I’ve equipped my car with
Goodrich Safety Silvertowns.”
An Amazing Tiro iavsisSon
Take our word for it, gambling on tires is mighty risky busi
ness. Because of the heat generated inside the tire by today s
high speeds you never can tell when BANG! a blow-out may
throw youi car completely out of conuol.
Before anything like this happens to YOU let us equip your
car with a set of Goodrich Safety Silvertowns, the only tires
in the world built with Life-Saver Golden Ply. This exclusive
Goodrich invention resists hc~-.’—keeps rubber and fabric from
separating—keens blisters from forming and you get real pro
tection against nigh-speed blow-outs where you need it most
—inside the tire! Remember, Silvcrtowns cost no more than
other standard tires and
give months of extra
mileage. See us about a /£/,/§
set today. X
