AT G. B. C. LIBRARY
The art Department of G. S. C. W.
announces an Exhibition of Modern
Textiles, on view .n the Library for
the next ten-days.
These textiles were designed by
some of the leading artists of Europe
and America. Such designers as Ruth
Reeves, Paul Poiret, Vally Wiescl-
thier, Donald Deskey, and others arc
represented. Ruth Reeves, foremost
among American women designers
was sent by the Carnegie Founda
tion to Guatemala to do research
work there. Three of the designs
shown were done on this trip. Many
people have enjoyed her design for
the walls ai^d floor coverings in
Music Hall, Radio City. The public
is cordially invited to see the exhibi
tion at any time the Library is open.
