Blanks, at the recent session :>f the South Georgia Methodist Conference, was appoint ed to serve as pastor of churches at Pierce and Port Wentworth in the Savannah district. Walter as he is known in this city, where he grew to manhood, is an earnest and consecrated young man and preach er, and has a high conception of his sacred calling. His friends here wish for him the greatest success and usefulness in his work. WORK STARTS ON NEW HOME Work has been commenced on a modem and beautiful home, being erected by Mrs. Margaret Napier on the Southeast corner of Hancock and Columbia street. It is said that the house will be one of the most attractive in des : gn and architecture ever erected in the city. Grant, who with out being providentially hindered, never missed attending a meeting. The churclcs of Milledgeville have outstanding men as their min isters. They realize they have a high calling and the importance of thru relationship to the life of the com munity. Both by precept and ex ample they are pointing the way to the highest and best. Tuesday the children of the G. M. C. grammar school were given a complete examination of mouth, teeth and gums, by the dentists of Milledgeville. The children were brought to the offices of the dentist of the city by their teachers and the examinations were made. Bell, at the recent session of the North Georgia Con ference was appointed a member of the Board of Trustees the Wes leyan Christian Advocate.
