The December meeting of the
American Legion Auxiliary will h
held on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30
at the home of Mrs. George Echols
with Misses Bertie and Agnes Stem-
bridge, Miss Clara Morris, Mrs,
L. Morris joint hostesses. The sub
ject of the meeting is Rehabilitation
and Miss Bertie Stembridge. chair
man. has planned a most interesting
program. Special music has been
planned for the program and all
members are urged to be present.
Country Club celebrated the fifth
anniversary of the organization of
the club on Wednesday evening with
gala party.
The members assembled in the
early evening and dancing was en
joyed with a nationally famous or
chestra furnishing the music. The
club was beautifully decorated for
the occasion and the party was one
of the most delightful ever held In
the club since it was organized.
Mr. Arch McKinley, founder of
the club, was the recipient of con
gratulations of the club members.
