pletion of the Miilcdgeville Airport
sometime this week according to in
formation received by officials of
the Air Development* Association
Saturday. A WPA project was recent
ly approved and oWicals of the De
partment of Commerce were advised
that work will be recommenced on
the Milledgeville Airport this week
and completed as rapidly as poss
ible.

On last Wednesday afternoon. Mrs.
T. R. Brookins and Mrs. C. R. Tor
rance were the joint hostesses at the
monthly meeting of the “Women’s
Missionary Circle" of the Mount
Pleasant Baptist church.
The program was as followers:
Song—Christmas Carol—-by The
Circle.
Prayer—by Mrs. P. M. Allen.
Song—“In The Garden”—by Miss
Vivian Moorman, Miss Beatrice Tay
lor and Miss Irene Patterson.
Scripture Reading—by Mrs. Lige
Allen.
A short conference was held; Mrs.
Pauline Lee was unanimously re
elected President next was
drawing of tickets for the prize
quilt; little Miss Lucile Allen drew
the ticket, which had Mr. Grady
ViUard’s name on it. The next ticket
drawn by Master Ray Etheridge
it had Mr. Dayton Echols’ name
it. *nie prize was a pair of pillows
cases. The last ticket was drawn by
Master Ralph Etheridge and was M
L. C. Hall’s ticket; the prize was
bath towel.
