The most noticeable change in tin latest SI bill is a new design on tin back which presents both sides cf the great seal of the United States. The obverse of the great seal is the familiar eagle design with the mot- i “E Pluribus Unum." The reverse of the great seal, pre sented for the first time on any money, shows an unfinished pyra mid surmounted by an eye in a tri angular glory. A Latin motto above the design is “Annuit Coeptis,” translated as “He (God) Prospered Our Endeavors." A lower motto is “Novels Ordo Seclc^um” and is translated as “A New Order of the Ages." * explained by the designers, the reverse of the seal is rich in symbolism. The eye in the triangu lar glory represents All-Seeing Deity and with the motto Annuit CoeDtis “refers to the many signal interpo sitions of Providence." The pyramid is the symbol rtf permanence. Falling gently at *** first, later in the morning the snow came in big flakes and In a down pour. It was beautiful, the only word that cah adequately describe the snow of Sunday. The entire countryside came a land of white. Trees and shrubs were laden with the white flakes and Milledgeville joying its first real winter weather of the year. Children were happy and were soon out in the falling flakes making snow men and stag- battles. Many ol them were witnessing their first snow and it the real thrill of a life time to them.
