Bell spend most Sunday afternoons visiting friends, who are ill at their home 1 or in the hospitals. Both Mr. and Mrs Bell are reruJar attendant;- at Sunday morning services at the Methodist church, without provid entially prevented, and soon after dinner they commence their visits. This is a custom that others might follow, as visit from friends of ten times cheers and makes happy those who are shut in, and are pre vented from meeting and mingling with friends. Mr W. B. Richardson called by The Itnion-Recorder office Saturday and paid his subscription to March 1937. Mr. Richardson has been n subscriber of this paper since 18B3 and always sees that it is paid for a year in advance. In spite of his more than three score years and ten. he is still active, and performs daily tasks on his farm. Mrs. Bass called by The Union- Recorder office Monday afternoon, and renewed her subscription.
