bility, caused by a torpid action of the vessels of the
skm. It is singularly efficacious in renovating those
constitutions which have been broken down by injudi
cious treatment, or juvenile irregularities. In general
terms, it is recommended in all those diseases which
arise from impurities of the blood, or vitiation of the
humors, of whatever name or kind.
Some of the above complaints may require some
assistant applications, which the c rcunnstances of the
case will dictate ; hut for a general remedy or Purifi
cator to remove the cause, The Indian’s Panacea will
generally he found sufficient.
The following certificates, out of hundreds similar
which might be procured, are given to show the effect
of the Indian's Panacea, in the various complaints
therein mentioned : and also to exhibit in the most sa
tisfactory manner its superiority over the syrups in
common use.

sioned liy exposure in bad weather. I now take great

THE subscriber having made arrangements to be
come a permanent resident of Columbus, offers
his professional services to the citizens of this city, and
the public generally. He can he found at all times at
his office on Broad street, a few doors below the City

MALE SEMINARY, under the supertend
ance of Miss Bracket., notify the public that the insti
tution is now in operation, and any number of Pupils
can be received.
For the general information of applicants from a dis
tance, notice is given, that by an arrangement made
with a large proportion of the most respectable families
in our town, Board for Pupils can be ohtanied in such
fami ies, at prices varying from $9 to sl2 per month,
fuel, lights, and washing included.
The course of instruction in this institution is tho
rough, complete, and as extensive as in the most ap
proved northern Seminaries. The discipline and stu
dies in each department are carefully adapted to the
ages and sianding of the Pupils; and in all, the Bible
is a book of daily study and recitation, being regarded
not only as the means of enlightening the conscience
and purifying the heart, but as the basis of all correct
education.
Tuition , after the present term, will vary from eight

UNITED STATES MAIL.
THE subscriber lias taken the contract for carry
ing the United States Mail between Apalachico
la, Flor. and Bainbridge, Ga. per Steamboats, and has
selected for that purpose the fast and staunch Steamer
Free Trader, which is acknowledged to be one of tho
fleetest boats on the river. At Bainbridge the boat in
tersects with the Stage Line running from Augusta to
Mobile and New Orleans, on what is known as the
lower route, and also the line running from Georgia to
Tallahassee, and will afford to travellers an easy and
safe conveyance to the ports of the Gulf of Mexico,
and with greater ease and expedition than can be ob
tained by any other route. The Free Trader has
been thoroughly overhauled, and will afford every ac
commodation for the comfort and convenience of pas
sengers, usuaiy found in packet boats of the first class.
This arrangement has already been some time in ope
ration. and the trips have been pcrf irmed much within
the hours prescribed, and to the satisfaction of all par
ties.
TIMES OF DEPARTURE.
The Free Trader will leave Apalachicola every
Stindav and YVednesday at 11 o’clock P. M. and
reach Bainbridge the next day at 9 o’clock P. M.
On returning she will leave F ./..bridge every Tues
day and Friday at 4 o’clock P. M. and arrive at Apa
lachicola at 10 o’clock the next day.

FLORIDA AND IRWINTON MAIL
STAGE.
THE undersigned, having obtained the contract
for transporting the mail from Columbus, Ga. to
Fort Gaines, Ga. by the way of Fort Mitchell, Flo
rence, Irwinton and Franklin, have commenced the
conveyance of the same in two horse Stages, and will
leave Columbus every Tuesday and Friday at 5 o’clock
in the morning, arrive at Irwinton at 6 o’clock in the
evening on the same days ; leave Irwinton every Wed
nesday and Saturday morning, and reach Fort Gaines
at 12 o’clock at noon on the same days. Returning,
leave Fort Gaines every Sunday and Wednesday at
5 o’clock in the morning, sleep at Florence, and arrive
at Columbus overy Monday and Thursday,at 2 o’clock
in the afternoon.
The proprietors have tnade such arrangements a
will ensure the comfort of those who may take their
line. Their horses and stages are good, their drivers
attentive and sober, and the house* at which they stop

thousand Trees of the genuine Morus Multicaulis.
1 will take I*2s cents a piece for all of the rooted
Trees of the Morus Multicaulis, or Chinese Mulberry,
that will be growing on my premises the first of the en--
suing December, and will throw m the Plantation
gratis to the purchaser, or I will lake 10 cents a piece
for lire Trees and cost for the Plantation. This I be
lieve is offering of the Morns Multacaulis for almost
one-third- less than they can be purchased for at any
market in the South, or possibly m- any market in tho
United States.
On the premises there is a’ large Vine) ard of from
twelve t.v fourteen acres, embracing almost every va
riety of Grape-vines, now in a thrifty and prosperous
state of cultivation. This possession has one hundred
and fifty acres of cleared land, bordering on the south
side of Pine Mountain for two miles, and has seven or
eight fine branches, emanating from the mountain,
running through it.
The Chinese Mulberry on my premises grow*
finely, the soil and its peculiar location being better
adapted to their successful growth and propagation than
most plantations in Georgia I have trees which grew
the last year from five to eight feet high, and vatkni*
sires from one to five years old, all of which produced,
the first season, a most dense and luxuriant crop oC
