The services of the present Teachers have been se cured for the space of three years. In the male de partment, Augustus K. Rugg, A. B. Principal; and Klisses Lnvinia S. W ads worth.and Augusta A. Giles, teachers in female department. Two large and commodious rooms have been added to the Female Academy, for the purpose of Recitation, Music, Painting, and Drawing; and the Trustees pledge themselves that no pains shall be spared to place these among the best institutions in the court! ry. The number of scholars in the Academies during the first term was about one hundred. In the male department are thoroughly taught all the branches of Academic and Collegiate courses of studies, in the best and most approved manner.
