37 Walker St, Baltimore, Dec, tSBt,
For six years I have been a great
sufferer from Blood Disease, Dys
pepsia,andConstipation.and became
so debilitated that I could not retain
anything on my stomach, in fact,
life had almost become a burden.
Finally, when hope had almost left
me, my husband seeing Bkow.n’s
Iron Bitters advertised in the
paper, induced me to give it a trial.
1 am now taking the third bottle
and have not felt so well in six
years as I do at the present time.
Mrs. L. F. Griffin.
Brown’s Iron Bitters
will have a better tonic
effect upon any one who
needs “bracing up,” than
any medicine made.

Mr. J. M. Spurlock, last afternoon a
few miles from the city, to attend the

what Selma cuuld become in the way
of a manufactuiing city. Herein he
her greatest hopes.
Eufaula Times: Monday evening;

Eufaula Times: A little sou of Mr,
J. J. Carter came mar being drowned
in a hole below the sewer, at the in
tersection of Livingston and Barbour
streets Monday evening. It calls our
attention to what is really a danger-'
ous place. Tnis is a precipice of al
most thirty feet immediately on a
sidewalk, and pedestrians going that
way might make a mis-step and pos
sibly be heard of no more, but be the
food for the water rats below. We
invite the attention of the council to
it. It may really be worth their
while to examine it.
Eufaula Bulletin: Messrs, Young-
Johnston and Will Fiewelleu went
down on the MeTyer place on yester
day to catch a wild eat. They had
eleven dogs, and about 7 o’clock they
bounced their game and after a run
of two or three hours they caught the
largest framed cat we ever saw. I
weighed 21 pounds and was about
four and a hall feet in length. The
dogs run it out of a swamp and thick- 1
et into an old ertton field, in open
view of the hunters, and where the
dogs overtook it, and then it was an
open IL id and fair light between the
cat and doge, in which tire cat got
he best of it everytime, until Mr.
Johnston rushed in with a stick and
iealt the “varmint” a heavy blow on
tne head, wirictr knocked it down and
s unned 1 , so tn .t the dogs got. a
good hold upon it and soon di-patch I
e i it. Two or three of the dogs were
badly bitten and scratched, oneef
tnem receivit g such a bite through
tne foot that it had to be brought
home in a wagon. The cat was on
exhibition in fr mt of Mr. I’. 11. Mor
ris’place of business yesterday and
created much curiosity- and interest,
particularly among ths commercial
drummers from the large cities.

am satisfied of the truth of this.
On account of its proven merits, it i i recommended
