Do not trifle, with disease. Rely upon it, that when the stomach will not digest food—when faintness and lassi tude pervade the system—when the sleep is disturbed, the appetite is feble, the mind lethargic, the nerves unnaturally sensitive, and the head confused —rely upon it, that when these symptoms occur, the powers of vitality are failing, and that, unless the mischief is promptly cheeked, life iciii be shortened, as well as rendered miserable. Now we know, from a mass of testimony, greater than was ever be fore accumulated in favor of one remedy, that Hooflland’s German Bitters, prepared by Dr. C. M. Jackson, Philadel phia, will immediately abate, and, in the end, entirely re move all of these'disorders as surely as a mathematical process will solve a problem. Who, then, will endure the agony, and the risk of life, with health and safety within reach ? feb24. Holloieay’s Ointment and Pills—Extraordinary Cure of a Bad Leg. —Mr. John Allen, of No. 17, Denmark Leicester, was afflicted with a bad foot for three y&KJ, during which time he was under medical treatment without obtaining any relief, or even mitigation to his suf- j ferings. He was strongly advised to have his foot ampufa- | ted, but this operation he positively objected to, and alter lingering for some time longer in dreadful agony, he com menced using Holloway's Ointment and Pills, and by con r tinuing the invaluable medicines for a comparatively short period he was completely cured, and his foot is now a3 sound as ever ; he, therefore, recommends these remedies to others smilariy afflicted. To the Afflicted.—To those afflicted with that dread ful scourge to America, the Liver Complaint, the proprie tors ot M’Lane’s Liver Pills are happy to offer this remedy, as at once complete and safe. It has been tried often in all parts ot the country; it has been used in the practice of the most eminent physicians, and always with triumphant success. In offering these Pills to the public, the proprie- j tors are actuated by a desire to alleviate human suffering, j and offer a remedy within the reach of all, which is at once a safe and effectual remedy for a most dangerous and dif ficult class of diseases. This truly efficacious remedy may be had at all Druggists in Columbus, and by dealers gen eraliy throughout the U. S. leb24. INVALIDS, recovering from the effects of Fever, : Biiiious Diseases, or long continued illness of any kind, will ! find Carter’s Spanish Mixture the only remedy which will ! revive their drooping constitutions, expel all bad humors from the blood, excite the liver to a prompt and healthy ac tion, and by its tonic properties, restore the patient to life and vigoi. We can only say TRY IT. A single bottle is worth all the so-called Sarsapariilas In existence. It contains no Mercury, Opium, or any other noxious or poionous drug, and can be given to the youngest mlant without hesitation. See the certificates of wonderful cures around the bot tles. Yiore than five hundred persons in the city of Rich mond, Va., can testily to its good effects. *See advertisement. marl. 1 COLUMBUS, GA., MARCH 6, 1855.
