C. Williams, M. D.—Dear >Sir: T'he object of this communication isto procure u quantity of your valuable Expectorant known as“Williams\Balsani of Wild Cher ry and Wood Naptha. ’ I must confess that it excels eve ry other article known to me as a pulmonary agont. Some weeks ago 1 had an opportunity ot testing its efficacy in a very bad ease, in my own family, and its prompt energetic and salutary etlect induced me to solicit an agency. I hud, upon an examination, that there is not a bottle in our town lor sale. I will take great pleasure in doing all iu my power lor you. Y ours truly, sept6lrn A. L. Me WILLIAMS, M. D. B3^ J Sold by all Druggists everywhere. See long ad vertisement in another column. As a Spring and Summer Medicine, Carter’s Spanish Mixture stands pre-eminent above all others. Its singularly efficacious action on the blood; its strengthen ing and vivifying qualities; its tonic action on the Liver; its tendency to drive all humors to the surface, thereby cleans ing the system according to Nature’s own proscription; its harmless, and at the same time extraordinary good effects, and the number ol cures testified to by many of the most respectable citizens of Richmond, Va. and elsewhere, must be conclusive evidence that there is no humbug about it. • Tho trial of a single bottle will satisfy the most skeptical of its benefits. Davis’ Vkoktablu Pain Killer. —We refer our readersto an advertisement with the above caption, in the advertising columns of this morning’s Eagle. We first heard of this meet- \ ioine during a recent visit to the New England States, and be- j ing struck with the novelty of the title, we were induced to ‘ make some enquiry about it, and were surprised to learn that 1 it was kept constantly in the bouses of most of the inhabi tants ot the cities and villages where we stopped, to be used : in cases of sudden attacks of pain, burns, “scalds, &c., and we heard it spoken of in terms r of high commendation by both druggists aud physicians. Ti.is much we can with propriety say asjournaiiat&.iu favor of theartielo.—[Philadelphia Eagle. Pkkky Davis’ Ykhktable Pain Kim er.—Voluntarily, conscienciously, and with much pleasure, we recommend to our readers the above named medicine. vVe speak from our own observation and experience when we say that it removes pain as ifbv magic from all parts of the body, and is one of the best, medicines in use for checking .Diarrhiea, and for re moving the premonitory symptomps of cholera. It is applied both internally aud externally, with the best e-Tects, and none who lmveonce used the Pain Killer would willlnglybe with out it constantly in their houses. —[Cincinnati Eve. Nonpareil. Davis’Pain Killer. —This article needs no comment from us, but the real worth of so valuable a com pound, .compels us to give publicity to it, in our Transcript. Mi. Perry Davis, the manufacturer and inventor, is a gentleman lor whom we enter tain the highest respect, and any article he should to the public we should have the [utmost confidence in. The Pain Killer we keep constantly on hand, and have done so for a num ber of years, and have administered it lor ails of all descrip tions, both external and internal, and have ever found it to ba tne best remedy extant. VVe well rcollect its first introduction for public patronage; it was then sold “in a few shops in this city; look at it now, tho world are its patrons.
