Dams’.” Vegetable Pain Killer.— We refer our readerstc
an advertisement with the above caption, Ita the advertising
columns of this morning’s Eagle. We first heard ol ties med
icine during a recent visit to the New England States, and be
ing struck with the novelty of the title, we were induced to
make some enquiry about it, and were surprised to learn that
it was kept constantly intbe bouses of most of the inhabi
tants ol the cities and villages where we stopped, to be used
in cases of sudden attacks ol pain, burns, scalds, &c., aud we
heard it spoken of in ‘terms of high commendation by both
druggists and physicians. Tnis much weean with propriety
say asjournalists,in favor of thearticle. —[Philadelphia Eagle.
Prf.ry Davis’ Vegetable Pais Kil< ek. —Voluntarily,
couscienciously, aud with much i leasure, we recommend to
uur readers-the above named medicine. We speak from our
owu observation and experience when we *ay that it removes
pain as il bv magic from til part*of the body, and is one of
the best medicines in use for checking Diarrhoea, and lor re
moving the premonitory ayinptomps of cholera. It is applied
both internaltv and externally, with the best effects, and none
who baveonce used the Pain Killer would willingly be with
outit constantly in their houses. —[Cincinnati Eve. Nonpareil.
Davis’Pain Killer —This article needs no comment from
us, but the real worth of so valuable a compound,,compels us
to givepublicity to it, in our Transcript. Mi. Perry Davis.the
manufacturer and inventor, is a trentiernan for whom we enter
tain the highest respect, and an> article he should ‘offer to the
public we should have the (utmost confidence in. The Pain
Killer we ketp constantly on hand, and have done so for anum
her of years, and Lave administered it lor ails of all descrip
tions, both external aud internal, and have ever found it U‘ be
tae best remedy extant. We well rcollcct its first introduction
for publicpatronage; it was then sold in a few shops jn this
city; look at it now. the world are its patrons. A few days ago
we published a certificate from Kurmah, and we have often
seen them from ihc most remote habitable regions of Ibe globe.
