FRIENDS. —Reader, it you have a valued friend, in
whose welfare you feel an interest, that friend will
prize as a precious memorial your Ambrotype or Daguer

rpO ALL—How many have lost a Father, a Mother, a
Sister, a Brother, or an innocent little prattling child ?
and have not even the shadow of a resemblance to look
upon. Alter the separation, some little toy or a trifling ar

Wood bridge’s perfect Daguerreotypes of “the loved and

PARENTS. —If you are still blessed with parents, and
no artist has or can trace the lineaments of his or her
familiar face or form, you may well act the part of Milton,
to advise or persuade them to visit, without delay, the pal

their .pictures taken in VV 7 00DBRIDGE’S new style.

BROWN’S
WASHING MACHINE.
THE Inventor in introducing liis new Rotary Washing Ma
chine to the notice of the public, does so with the confi
dence that in all eases where a fair trial is given, they will be,
as they have been by those who have used them, pronounced
to be the beat Machine tor washing now in use. and capable
of performing more work in tar less time and with far less
damage to the clothes than any other Washing Machine now
made.
lie claims for this Machine, that it will cleanse the clothes
from dirt In 15 to 30 minutes and leave them entirely clean,
ready for boiling and rinsing.
jjjit will thoroughly rinse clothes in from 5 to 10 minutes
It will do an ordinary day’s washing in an hour, and does
not wear the clothes more than one tenth as much as when wash
ed by hand.
It is adapted to was-.ing from the fine st musiine to the coar
sest cloths, Blankets and Carpets.
It can be worked by women or even a 12 year old boy, and
is so simple in its constructi- n that almost anyone can repair
it —if it should ever need it—and will, with ordinary care,
iast from five to ten years.
SaT One of the great merits of ,lhis Machine in. in addi
tion to the facility us washing, is that the clothes are. not warn
out by washing. By the ordinary process of w. shing, clot In
are more injured than by wearing. This advantage, together
with the taci ttiat it will do ten times the work o! hand labor,
should induce eveiy Hotel, Board.ng House, and family to
have one.
These Machines are sold for Cash only, delivered at our shop
—price sl3. Directions for using sent with evi ry Machine.
