treaty, which is qjite lengthy and has many specifications,
and was written by Gov. Shannon, had been signed by
Gen. Robinson and Col. Lane, on the part ot the citizens,
they accompanied us to Franklin, where they met a large

“TIMELY HINTS TO ALL.”
IT'RIENDS —Reader, if you have a valued friend, in
. whose welfare you feel an interest, that Iriend will
prize as a precious memorial your Amhroty pe or Daguer
i reotype picture —if taken in Wood bridge’s peculiar style.
TO ALL—How many have lost a Father, a Mother, a
Sister, a Brother, or an innocent little prattling child ?
and have not even the shadow of a resemblance to look
upon. After the separation, some little toy or a triHing ar
ticle, is often kept for years, and cherished as a token of re
membrance. How much more valuable would he one of
Wood bridge’s perfect Daguerreotypes of “the loved and
1 lout!”
PARENTS. —If you are still blessed with parents, and
no artist has or can trace the lineaments of his or her
| lamiliar face or form, you may well act the part of Milton,
I to advise or persuade them to visit, without delay, the pal
! ace rooms ot WILLARD A DJEP42W, and have
their picture® taken in YVOODBKIDGE’S new style.
For a Holiday Gift, of all the rest,
A type of yourself is surely the be.->t,
Then hie for Broad wav No. eighty-two.
And get your picture ot Willard and Depew.
