Musical instruments will be provided, so that each pupil
may have the means of daily practice in addition to the regu

Attention js called to the following advantages: First, the
pupil receives a much larger share of attention, than when
the school is larue and overgrown.

This Institution is located in one of the most beautiful and
healthy villages of South Western Georgia; owned by the
Masonic Fraternity, and under Us supervision; it is kept free
from all sectarian bias—at the time, requisite-care is ta
ken to secure to the pupils proper moral, as well as mental
training.
The next session wiil open on the second Monday in
January next. The Classes will then be organized, aud
will progress as heretofore.
Boarding can bo obtained in the best families of the place,
where the students will be surrounded by thd safeguards and
amenities ol the family circle.
The rates of tuition and board, are ,as low as those offered
by any sun war Institution in this part of the State.
The College is furnished with anew and complete set of
Chemical and Philosophical Apparatus, Globes, Maps, Charts,
&c.: in fine with everything necessary lor illustration in the
several departments of Natural and Experimental Science.
The College Building is so arranged that the Departments will
be kept entirely separate, each occupying its respective rooms.
Arrangements are now in progress to secure tor the Music
Department, a gentleman of the Highest grade of abilities and
moral character.
We invite the patronage of a liberal and discerning’public,
being assured, from the character and reputation of those
constituting the Faculty, and the ample facilities for instruc
tion now actually in possession of the Institution, that every

Messrs. P. Davis Son —Dear Sirs: ****The Karens
iiave no more confidence in the charms of their ancestors-
They desire rational remedies for tne sick. By various
means, principally through the agency of tlie Rev. D. L.
Bray ton, these Karen people have becormy acquainted with
your medicine, and their demand for it is to rnq very sur
prising.’
[ now have by me orders for more than fifty bottles, but
1 have not got one bottle; I therefore with you to send me
a quantity, and 1 will pay you through the tieasurer of the
Missionary Union. I hope we shall he favored with some
ol it as soon bus possible. There is no medicine which
stands so high in the estimation of the Karens of these pro
vinces as the Pain Killer, and I feel willing to gratify them,
as .1 entertain a very high opinion of its worth.
