The rear corner bedroom or
master bedroom has double clos¬

shower. The other two bedrooms
also have good closet space. I
There is a bath off this hall

The fourth bedroom or study

would be more than ample space

For more intimate and
relaxed moments, lights can be
dimmed all the way down to
complete darkness. In the dining
room light can be dimmed to
candle glow.

Informal L-Shape Ranch
From New Homes Guide
This informal ranch house, designed by architect Jerry
Gropp and shown in NEW HOMES GUIDE magazine, is laid out
on a L pattern as a variation from the familiar in-line house.
Entry and foyer are at the center of the plan, and all areas are
reached directly from there without going through another room.
Interesting note is the two-way fireplace serving both living and
dining rooms. In addi¬
tion, there is a break¬
fast nook in the kitchen.
Note the back-to-back
bathrooms, each with
twin built-in lavatories.
This is another plan re¬
flecting the modern trend
to outdoor living in the
privacy of the back yard.
Area of the house is 1,600
sq. ft. Write NEW HOMES

A wishing well isn't enouf?^
when you want new
YOU’RE NOT LIKELY to get a new industry simply
by tossing a coin into the cool depths of a wishing
well. That’s why more and more Georgia com¬
munities are calling on the resources of the Georgia
Power Company’s industrial development staff.
Last year this group helped to locate 158 new
manufacturing and processing plants in 84 towns
throughout Georgia. These plants represent $83
million in capital investment, 7,000 jobs, and $21
million in annual payroll.
Our industrial development representatives help
Georgia communities to grow and prosper. They
are working hard to make this year’s record even
better than last year’s.
