you and your Administration, are entitled to have a vote

it is truly in the public interest is H.R. 9903, presently
blocked by the House Rules Committee’s recent refusal to
clear the measure for consideration by the full House.
This is a crying shame — because if this _ bill ends up on
the legislative scrap heap, American consumers will go on
being cheated out of several billion dollars annually from
freight rates kept artificially high by regulation which
kills off real competition.

consumers billions of dollars a year. It will stimulate the
Nation’s economy. It will improve the competitiveness of
American products against foreign products, at home and

The petition of B. B. BLALOCK, TAL
MADGE BLALOCK and H. H. DAVIDSON,
respectfully shows:

That they desire for themselves, their
ciates and successors to be incorporated

“MOUNTAIN LAND DEVELOPERS. INC.”
for a period of thirty five years with all of
rights, powers and privileges conferred
corporations generally by the corporation
of 1938 as amended and set forth in
22-18 of the Code of Georgia Annotated
ment, as well as those rights, power and
leges enumerated therein.

The object of said corporation is

The general nature of the business to
transacted by said Corporation is as follows:
(a) That of buying, selling, developing and
disposing of real estate and personal property
of every name and nature.
(b) To contract debt, borrow money, loan
money, execute deeds and security deeds, bills
of sale to secure debt, to sue and to be sued,
to have a common seal, to make all necessary
by-laws, rules and regulations and to do any
and all acts that may be necessary and lawful
in the conduct of said business.
(c) To enter into, make and perform and
carry out all necessary contracts for any lawful
purpose pertaining to the business of the cor¬
poration with any person, firm, association or
corporation now or hereafter to be organized.

The maximum number of shares that said
corporation is authorized to have outstanding
at any time shall be 6,000 shares of common
stock of the par value of $10.00 ]>er share. The
minimum number of shares that said corpora¬
tion is authorized to have outstanding at any
time shall be 20 shares of common stock of the
par value of $10.00 per share. By a two-thirds
majority vote the holders of common stock,
may without charter amendment increase or
decrease the number of outstanding shares of
common stock of said corporation at any time
and from time to time between the minimum
and maximum limitation set out above.

The amount of capitol with which said cor¬
poration shall begin business is $300.00.

The principal office of said corporation shall
be located in Cleveland, White County, Georgia,
and petitioners desire that said corporation
shall have the privilege of establishing branch
offices and places of business elsewhere.
The names and post office addresses of peti¬
tioners are as follows:

Talmadge Blalock, Cleveland, Georgia,
H. H. Davidson, Cleveland, Georgia.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray that they be
incorporated under the name above set forth
with all the rights, powers and privileges as set

name of the proposed corporation is not the
name of any other existing corporation regis¬
tered in the recoitis of the Secretary of State;

GEORGIA, WHITPJ COUNTY:
By virtue of an order of the Ordinary of
said State and County, there will be sold at
public outcry, the on the first Tuesday in June.
1964, on premises in Cleveland, Georgia,
between the legal hours of sale, to the highest
and best bidder for cash, the following de¬
scribed land in said county, to-wit:
A one-half undivided interest in all that
tract or parcel of land lying in the 2nd land
District, White County, Georgia, and located
near the town of Cleveland, Georgia, and be¬
ing more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east side of State
Highway (U. S. Highway) No. 129, where
this property joins that of Virgil Glover at a
rock corner; running thence in an Easterly
direction along with the line of the said Virgil
Glover and this property to a rock corner
to the point where this pro]>erty corners with
the properly of the said Virgil Glover and
Hamp White-, thence in n Westerly direction
along t!ic old original land lot line, which is
the line of this property and that the property
now owned by Hamp White, to a point on
the rifcht-of-wnv on the East side of said
Highway where this property joins the property
of B. G. Allison to a corner on the original
land lot line; thence in a Southerly direction
