Legislative Breakfast is Saturday
Local residents will have the
opportunity to enjoy breakfast
while discussing legislative is
sues with state and national rep
resentatives this Saturday, Feb.
28.
The annual Legislative
Breakfast, hosted by Jenkins
County Farm Bureau and
Millen-Jenkins County Cham
ber of Commerce, will be held
8 a.m. at Krystal’s Taste of
Kountry restaurant.
Congressman John Barrow.
State Representative Jon Burns
and State Senator J.B. Powell
will all be in attendance. Each
representative will comment on
legislative issues after which a
question and answer session
will be held.
