The School District heretofore has issued its $5,050,000 in principal amount JENKINS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND, SERIES 2005 (the “Series 2005 Bond”) for the purpose of financing cap ital outlay projects of the School District, as authorized by a majority vote of qual ified voters in Jenkins County voting in an election held March 15, 2005. If re imposition of the Educational Sales Tax is approved by the voters of Jenkins County on March 17,2009 and imposed beginning July 1, 2010, proceeds to be received from the Educational Sales Tax of approximately $3,160,195 shall be used to pay principal of and interest coming due on the Series 2005 Bond through December 1,2015, which is the final maturity date for the Series 2005 Bond.
