We’d express all our unspoken love; We’d have countless things to say. If we could bring you back again, We’d say we treasured you. And that your presence in our lives, Meant more than we ever knew. If we could bring you back again, To tell you what we should, You’d know how much we miss you now, And if we could, we would. By Joanna Fuchs Daddy, Mommy, Brittany, family & friends In loving memory of Tom Heath Who departed this life 31 years ago, March 12,1978 My Daddy Your eyes I see no more But my heart holds your smile. I hear the angels’ fluttered wings, And I know you’re here With me for a while. My arms cannot touch you, But my reach is sent up above. On your journey, Daddy, I’m sending Along a daughter’s love. I had to say good-bye to you And that was so very sad, For you were not only my father, You were the best friend I ever had. I’ll see you in my dreams. That way I will never let you go. And the tears that fall on my pillow Are because I wanted you to know... “Dad, did you ever know You were my hero?” Your children Jenkins County Athletic Boosters to hold Boston butt sale The Jenkins County Athletic Booster Club will hold a Boston butt sale Friday, April 10, at West Millen Baptist Church. Bobby G. Williams, Jr., Pastor, 478-982-1134. Our Attitude Toward Hardships Enduring hardships can often be overwhelming, and might even cause a person to won der why such things happen to them. Only God knows why bad things happen to us, and none of us are immune to such conditions. Some people seem to accept hard ships better than others, and one can only wonder if perhaps they have been better conditioned toward hardships, or if they simply have a stronger faith in God? Our attitude toward difficulties and the way in which we confront them are extremely important, and we should realize that we are never alone during these times. For it is throughout hardships that we grow in faith and become a better person. Our Lord told us that “He is with us always, and that He would never leave us or forsake us.” In the midst of trouble, our Lord wants us to be mindful of His love for us and that our being prayerful and positive are important. By accepting our crosses in this world, we are reflecting our love for God, and understanding that this is necessary for the ultimate goal of our salvation. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. New KJ.V.
