Banana Pudding
1 can condensed milk
1 cup milk
1 small vanilla instant pudding
1 small sour cream
1 large cool whip
3 bananas
vanilla wafers
Mix condensed milk, milk and
vanilla pudding and refrigerate
for 5 minutes. Mix in 1/2 of the
cool whip and the sour cream.
Pour 1/2 of the mixture in a 9 x
11 pyrex dish.
Layer vanilla wafers, bananas,
another layer of pudding,
vanilla wafers and bananas.
Top with remaining cool whip.
Crumble two vanilla wafers on
top to garnish.
Breakfast Casserole
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1 t. salt
1 t. dry mustard
In the

1 lb ground sausage, cooked
4 slices bread, cubed
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Butter 9x12 baking dish and
cover bottom with bread cubes.
Add grated cheese. Beat eggs,
milk, salt and mustard. Pour
over other ingredients. Refrig
erate overnight. Bake at 350
degrees for 35 - 40 minutes. Let
stand 10 minutes and serve.
Cheesy Macaroni
6 cups cooked macaroni
3 cups grated cheddar cheese
4 eggs beaten
3/4 cup sour cream
6 T butter, cut into pieces
3/4 t salt, 3/4 t pepper
11/2 cups milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add cheese to drained, cooked
macaroni while hot. Combine
remaining ingredients and add
to macaroni mixture. Pour into
pan and bake. Check in 1 hour.
Top with additional cheese if
desired

Mrs. Annie Lee Suggs
Rabitsch, 75, of Millen, died
Saturday, Dec. 4, at Optim
Health Center. She was a
retired inspector for Jockey
International and member of
Oak Hill Baptist Church.

Gooley Kent, 80, of Millen
died at his residence Saturday
following an extended illness.
Mr. Kent was a farmer and
member of Rosemary Baptist
Church.
Garnett Newton, Jr. received
his B.S. Degree in Electri
cal Engineering from Georgia
Tech. His parents were unable
to attend because of weather
conditions.
Mike Chance, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Owin Chance caught a 31
pound jack rebaull he caught re
cently. Mike is the grandson of
Mrs. H.O. Chance and Mr. and
Mrs. Leslie Burke of Millen.

Workers were busy Monday
morning getting the old Piggly
Wiggly ready for the BiLo.
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Patterson
of Millen announce the birth
of their daughter, Shelby Anne,
at Augusta Regional Medical
Center. Mrs. Patterson is the
former Beth Black, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Black.
Rev. Charles Strickland of
Millen Baptist Church recently
presented Mrs. E.W. Prescott
with a check on her 103rd
birthday. Mrs. Prescott is the
oldest living member of the
church.
William T. Womack, 81, died
early Wednesday morning at the
residence of his daughter, Mrs.
C.M. Turner. Burial was in the
Statesboro City Cemetery.
The Alwood Farm comprising
some 1,050 acres now owned
by A.S. Newton will be sold at
public auction on Dec. 12. This
farm has been cut into 10 tracts
and is one of the best in the
county.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gunn
and children Hariett, Marjorie
and Guy of College Park visited
in Millen over the weekend.

service is for those families served

p.m. in the BOE office. The public

will be held at 4 p.m. The public is
invited to attend.

Box Distribution. All approved re
cipients must bring their acceptance
letter to the Ag Center across from
the school. Distribution will be
from 10-12.
Tuesday, Jan. 4: The City of Mil
len will hold the monthly council
meeting at 6 p.m. at City Hall. The
public is welcome to attend.
