The merchants ray as yet, there is bo effect in the am ket from that of last year. Mrs. Taylor Armour died sud denly the 9th inst., from a dose of quinine. On her death bed she said she had been poisoned. After ft king the drug she went into spasms as though from the effects of strychnine. Her re mains were taken to South Car oliaa lor burial. No inquest having been held, the remains were taken back. Friday morn ing an inquest was held. The coroner’s jury rendered a ver dict that site came to her death from complicated diseases.
