There is a vast difference between
a house and a home. The house
is but a building and furniture, the
outward shelter and the gathering
place of the household. The home
indicates the kindly family affec
tion, tne thoughtful care ready
sy m path v, mutual confidence, and
trust of the members. A true
home breathes the atmoshere of
love, A child should be made to
feel that his home, is indeed a
home, the happiest place in the
world, not merely an outward shel
ter and a resting place, but a center
of enjoyment, sanctified and puri
fied by love, the thought and re
membrance of which should be the
safeguard of his life as he goes forth
to the world, giving strength and
proportion to his character.
