RAISED FROM
A BED OF AGBHY
Mrs. Carson, of Argyll?,Mich.Jells
Strange Story ot Suffering
and Now Carriui Cured
Her.
Argyle, Mich.—"l had severe pains
from female trouble, and was almost
wild, with pain in my head.
“I wrote you for advice, which I fol
lowed as carefully as possible, and
after using seven bottles of Cardui, I
received great relief.
“I continued to use it and finally
was cured and raised from my bed
of agony. Cardui saved my life,
when nothing else would help me
and I can’t be thankful enough for
what it did for me.
I recommend it to all my friends
and neighbors. Two have already
tried it and found relief.
“I thank the Lord for planting the
herbs and for showing you how to
prepare Cardui for our good.”
You may be sure, if Cardui will re
lieve and cure such serious cases as
Mrs. Carson’s—and it is doing it ev
ery day—that it will, much more
quickly and certainly, help those wo
men who have no serious symptoms,
but are just weak and ailing.
Asa general tonic for women, to
improve the appetite and build up the
constitution, Cardui is in a class by
itself.
Whether seriously sick, or simply
ailing, try Cardui. It will help you.
Your druggist will recommend it.

Eucalyptus Tree#.
With reference to the letter of ‘‘Old 1
Australian” about eucalyptus trees,
would say that I have grown them
from seed for a numbar of years,
but have not been able to preserve
them for more than two winters. I
have only a small greenhouse, with
a pipe from the kitchen boiler, and
the frost usually kills them. I find
the plants good for hay fever or sim
ilar nasal trouble.
In the (Botanical Gardens In the
Bronx they have a fine specimen of
tho (Eucalyptus Globulus, which is
the one I grow, but. of course, they
are better able to take care of It
than I am. Perhaps "Old Austra
lian” knows of a hardy specimen of
the “Globulus” that would resist a
moderate amouEt of cold. —W. Mac-
Donald, in the *New York Times.

The two physicians here had 3 very obstinate cases of continued Malarial Fever. All
were Italians and lived on a creek BO yards from my store. These cases were of three
months standing, their temperature ranging from 100 to 104. Tho doctors had tried every
thing In vain. I persuaded them to let me try Johnson’s Tonic, I removed all the print

was no recurrence of the Fever. S. R. SHIFLETT. , . i

Sixteen Years of Skin Disease.
‘‘For sixteen long years I have been
suffering with a bad case of skin dis
ease. While a child there broke out
a red sore on the legs Just in back of
my knees. It waxed from bad to
worse, and r.t last I saw I had a bad
skin disease. I tried many widely
known doctors in different cities, but
to no satisfactory result. The plague
bothered me more in warm weather
than in winter, and being on my leg
joints it made it impossible for me to
walk, and I was forced to stay indoors
in the warmest weather. My hopes
of recovery were by this time spent.
Sleepless nights and restless days
made life an unbearable burden. At
last 1 was advised to try the Cutlcura
Remedies [Cutlcura Soap, Ointment
and Pills], and 1 did not need more
than a trial to c®nvince me that I was
on the road of success this time. I
bought two sets of the Cutlcura Rem
edies and after these were gone I
was a different man entirely. I am
now the happiest man that there is at
least one true cure for skin diseases.

Women's Secrets j|L^
There is one man in the United States who hits perhaps heard
more women’s secrets than any other man or woman in the
country. These secrets ere not secrets of guilt or shame, but
the secrets of suffering, and they have been confided to Dr.
R. V. Fierce in the hope and expectation of advice and hulp. #
That few of these women have been disappointed in their ex
pcctations is proved by the fact that ninety-eight per cent, of
all women treated by Dr. Pierce have been absolutely and fr-W Q
altogether cured. Such a record would be remarkable if the fjf
cases treated were numbered by hundred* only. Rut when W Oy
that record applies to the treatment of more than half-a- mil- f •
lion women, in a practice of over 40 years, it is phenomenal,
and entitles Dr. Pierce to the gratitude accorded him by women, as the first ol
specialists in the treatment of women’s diseases.
Every sick woman may consult Dr. Pierce by letter, absolutely without
charge. Ail replies are mailed, seated in perfectly plain envelopes, without
cny printing or advertising whatever, upon them. Write without fear aa with
out fee, to World’s Dispensary Medical Association, Dr. U. V . Pierce, Prest.,
