Pil grim, of Coal Mountain, are sor ry to learn that he suffered an other stroke of paralysis one day last week. His condition is said to be serious. Mrs. Bart Ashworth, of near Buford, died last Sunday and the remains were brought to Coal Mountain,[this county, for burial Monday. She is survived by a husband and children, and other relatives, to whom we extend sympathy. i The Cumming Baptist church will observe the ordinance of the Lord's Supper on Sunday, Aug ust sth, being the first Sunday in August. The ladies of the Methodist church gave a “silver tea” Tues day afternoon,at the home ofMrs. W. 3. Lipscomb, the object being to raise funds with which to re pair the church building. Mrs. Ann Merritt, who has been on the sick list again, is im proving, we are glad to say. Misb Cahrine Pilgrim spent Sunday with her cousins, Misses Kathleen and Ivy Davis, Miss Ollie Williams had the mifortune of burning her foot re cently, but it is better now.
