morning a week ago the dog disap-!

in the bottom of an unused well on
Lon Dalton’s farm, adjoining town,

longing to H. J. Hosch. When the
first named dog was drawn it made
an effort to get back into the well,

up, it seemed reconciled and willing
to once more mingle among its for
mer associates above ground. We
cannot state whether the dogs acci
dentally or intentionally got into
the well or, if the latter, their reason
for doing so.
