Georgia cotton mills consumed 7,175 bales more of cotton for the year ending September 30th last, than the previous year. Congress has passed the bill ap-' propriating .$5,000 for improving the street in Marietta, Ga., leading to the National cemetery. It is said that the commissioners of Oconee county, Ga., will not ac cept the new court house recently j completed for that county.
