Kodol prevent* Dyspepsia, by effectually helping Nature to Relieve Indigestion. But don’t trifle with Indigestion. ' A great many people who have trifled with indigestion, have been sorry for it —when nervous or chronic dyspepsia resulted, and they have not been able to cure IL Vse and prevent having Dyspepsia. Everyone is to indiges tion. Stomach derangement follows stomach abuse, just as naturally and just as surely as a sound and healthy stomach results upon the taking of Kodol. When you experience sourness of stomach, belching of gas and nauseating fluid, bloated sensation, gnawing pain in the pit of the stomach, heart burn (so-called), diarrhoea, headaches, dullness or chronic tired feeling—you need Ko dol. And then the quicker you take Kodol—the better. Eat what you want, let Kodol digest it. When a girl falls in love with a loafer we usually find him the idle of her heart. The corn-field ought to take to a high rank, because there are so many kernels in it. It would not take a thrashing machine very long to thrash out some men's ideas. The auctioneer knocks down almost everything he touches, and the people don’t usually object. Pride is undesirable, and yet we all are agreed that rice is not likable unless it is all puffed up. Talk about the farmers having no influence; they are stirring up the entire country right now. Our neighbor's faults are mag nified sevenfold, but as to our own short-comings we can not see them with a microscope. It is not best always to stay at home; an occasional change is good for everybody. Even the kitchen fire goes out occasionally Every farmer can be his own weather profit if he will keep his tools under- the slued, and his stock in the stables during bad nights. There are lots of people in the world who appear to have the brains of a mule. All they seem to be able to do is to eat, sleep and kick. In a horse deal with their neigh bor, when looking for the spavin on Isis animal, do not neglect to mention the splint on thine own, and thus thou shalt have a rec ord for fair dealing. Farm Journal. Smith has appointed Rev. M. J, Gofer of Atlanta, and Col. J. W. But that does not mean a big farm and a line money-outfit alone. They will need some help, some courage, some hopefulness, much truthful ness, clean hearts and pure minds considerably more than money.— Farm Journal. You should not delay under any cir cumstances in cases of Kidney and bladder trouble. You should take something promptly that you know is reliable, something like DeWitt’s Kidney and Bladder Pills. They are unequaled for weak back, backache, inflamation of the bladder, rheumat ic pains, etc. When you ask for De- Witt’s Kidney ad Bladder Pills, be sure you get them. They are antisep tic. The man who is always look ing for a better place, who thinks some other country is better than this one, should read what Abe Lincoln says on the subject. Abe said, “if you intend to go to work, there is no better place than right where you are; if you do not intend to go to work, you cannot get along anywhere.” Best Treatment for Colds. “Most ordinary colds will yield to the simplest treatment,” says the Chicago Tribune, “moderative laxa tives, hot foot baths, o free perspira tion and an avoidance of exposure to cold and wet after treatment.” While this treatment is simple, it requires considerable trouble, and the one adopting ft must remain in doors for a day or two, or a.fresh cold is almost sure to be contracted, and in many in stances pneumonia follows. Is it not better to pin your faith to an old re liable preparation like Chamberlain’s Cough Remedy, that is famous for its cures of colds and can always be de pended upon? Bad roads and scrubby stock go together. The farmers who set out to have better stock set out at the same time to have bet ter roads, better crops, and more improvements and conveniences on the farm. In view of the widespread in terest taken by America in pro hibition, Mr. Lincoln’s views on ; this subject, as long ago as 1853. command more than notice. In a speech delivered by him at Springfield, Illinois, Mr. Lincoln said: “The liquor traffic is a cancer in society, eating out its vitals and threatening destruct tion, and all attempts to regulate it will not only prove abortive, but will also aggravate the evil. If the prohibition of slavery is good for the black man, the pro bition of the liquor traffic is equally good and constitutional for the white man. There must be no more attempts to regulate the cancer; it must be eradicated; for until this is done, all classes must continue exposed to become the victims of strong drink. The most effectual remedy would be > to pass a law altogether abolish -1 ing the liquor traffic. Law must ’ protect and coni er ■ right things and if there is any evil in the ' land that threatens society or in , dividuals more than another, it . is the liquor traffic.”—Success Magazine.
