Hunt, made a. busi ness trip to Lafayette Friday. Mr. George Hollis, a former resident of Summerville, was greeting old friends here Friday. Rev. J. C. Hardin preached at the Presbyterian ehurch Sunday morning and at night. Col. J. T. Jolly has returned from a visit to relatives and friends in Jackson. Mrs. Maggie Gordon of Gore is the guest of her brother, Dr. E. Al. Wright.. Air. C. C. Cleghorn spent Sat urday and Sunday in Carters ville. Mrs. 1. AL Henderson and chil dren returned home Monday af ter spending several days with relatives at Dalton Miss Annie Whitfield left Fri day for her home in Macon, Ga., after a pleasant visit of several months here with Miss Beulah Shropshire. Mrs. Ann Hollis of Texas is on in extended visit to friends and relatives in Chattooga coun ty. She is the guest this week of Air. and Airs. W. 11. Strain, near Lyerly. Airs. Hollis was a resident of Summerville a few years ago, and has a number of friends here who will gladly wel come her again to our town. Airs. J. A.
