Master Kelley Hawkins returned
to Rome Tuesday after spending a
few days here with relatives.
Mr. Noble Simmons came down
from Chattanooga Sunday to see his
parents Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Simmons.

now improving.

Miss Allie Rhineheart came down
Monday afternoon from Chattanoo
ga and will spend her vacation with
home folks.

Miss Mattie Williams and Miss
Nell Kirby came up from Atlanta
Monday and are at home to friends
at the Hawkins House.
Miss Gloria Lamb, who has been at
tending school in Chattanooga, is
spending her vacation at home, much
to the delight of her young friends.
Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Cotton and
daughter of Atlanta visited friends in
town several days the latter part of
last week. They returned to Atlan
ta Sunday.
Mrs. G. O. Alexander and lit
tle son, left Monday for their
home in Westville, Oklahoma,
after a two months’ visit to
relatives in Chattooga.
Friends of Miss Bessie Godwin will
be gratified to know that she has
so far recovered as to be at home
again. She arrived from Birmingham
Wednesday.
