Mr. Noble Simmons came down
from Chattanooga Sunday to spend
a few days’ vacation here with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Simmons.
The county commissioners met
Monday in their regular monthly ses
sion. There was but little business
transacted besides the usual routine
work. The commissioners adjourned
over to meet again next Saturday,
August 21, for the purpose of re
ceiving the new court house from the I
contractors and making final payment
for the building.
