Opening Exercise at. 9:30. A. M. Address by Hon. Gordon
Lee.
10:00. Trotting Race to all comers. Raced by twos. Win
ners to rim final. Winners barred from contest next day. first
prize $5.00, second prize $2.50.
10:30. Best lior.se colt, cither sex, under 3 or over 2 years
old. Ist prize $2.00, 2nd prize Blue ribbon.
10:15. Best horse colt, either sex, under 2 and over 1 year
old. Ist prize $2.00. 2nd prize Blue ribbon.
11:00. Best horse colt, either sex, under 1 year old. Ist
prize 2.00, 2nd prize Blue ribbon.
11:15. Best saddler ridden by gentleman. Horse and riding
considered. Prize 2.00.
11:30. Best draft, horse shown in harness. Ist prize 2.00,
2nd prize. Blue ribbon.
11.40. Greased pole climbing contest. Prize 2.00.
11:50. Best pony saddler ridden by boy under 12 years oi l.
Ist prize 1.00, 2nd prize Blue ribbon.
1:30. Root-Race. 100 yards dash. Prize 1.50.
1:45. Sack race, 50 yards dash. Prize 1.50.
2:00. Best pair farm horses shown to wagon, equipment con
sidered. and must be owned by exhibitor, ,Ist prize 2.50, 2nd 1.50
2:10. Ladies driving contest, horse, and rig considered. Ist
prize 2.00.
2:30. Best brood mare, prize 2.00.
2:40. Best gelding shown in harness, prize 2.00.
Running Race.
2:50. Best mare shown in harness, prize 2.00.
3:00. Running race, 300 yards dash. Free for all. Run by
twos, winners to run finals. Winners barred from contest next
day. Ist prize SIO.OO. 2nd prize $5.00.

the people of Chattooga County.

Friday, Oct. 22.

10:00. Trotting race. Under same conditions as previous
day. Ist prize 5.00, 2nd prize 2.50.
10:30. Best mule colt under 2 and over 1 year old. Ist prize
2.00, 2nd prize Blue ribbon.
10:45. Best mule over 4 years old. Ist prize 2.00, 2nd blue

11:00. Mule race. Free for all. Prize 1.00.
11:15. 3-legged race. Prize 1.50.
11:30. Gents driving contest. Horse, driving and riding con
sidered. Prize 2.00.
1:30. Baby show. Prettiest girl under 12 months old. Prize
1.50. Handsomest baby boy, under 12 months old, Prize 1.50.
1:45. Best pair mules shown to wagon, equipment consider
ed, outfit to be owmed by exhibitor. Prize 2.00.
2:00. Best pony rig driven by child under 12 years old. 1.50.
2:30. Best saddler ridden by lady. Riding considered. $2.00.
