Atlanta, Ga„ September 9.—Blooded
live-stock from 20 different states is
to bo exhibited at the Southeastern
Fair, In Atlanta from October 2 to 9,
In competition for the most liberal
premium offers ever made by a
Southern fair, It was announced today
by Oscar Mills, vice president and
general manager.
Tim livestock exhibits will be held
as the National LTog and Cattle Show
under Joint auspices of the fair, the
Southern Cattlemen’s Association and
the Southern Swine Breeders’ Asso
ciation.
Mr Mills stated that the fair bad
made a successful effort to draw ex
hibits of livestock from other sec
tions whore Um cattle and swine
Industry Is profitably conducted, In
order to stimulate swine and cattle
breeding as a more profitable busi
ness In Georgia. _________
EPWORTH LEAGUE MEETS
\T CHICK AMALGA FRIDAY
The Epworth League union met
with the Chickamauga league Friday
evening at 7:31) o’clock. The beautiful
church was filled to capacity. Every
league in the union being well repre
sented. Newnan Springs league had
twelve reprsentatiVes there, express
ing a desire to become a member of
the union at some later date. Lafay
ette is to be congratulated on having
t- -nty-ninc of their thirty senior
1< guers present, (oiili sting for the
beautiful banner which was awarded
Chickamauga.

rendered the most encouraging pro
gram ever given by Methodist young
people in this section.
Miss Elizabeth White is to be con
gratulated on the theme selected and
the local help received. This tells us
that Chickamauga can do things.

delightful social hyur, playing new
games, serving cream and cookies.
Eveiy person left feeling that is was
