Above is an aerial view of the beautiful Fair and Exposition grounds
at Lakewood Park in Atlanta where the annual Southeastern Fair wiii
be held in conjunction with a State-wide Educational Exposition, on
October 4-11. Thousands of dollars have been spent th s year in im
proving the grounds and re-decorating the buildings and they are now
comparable to any in the United States.

four years that Mike Benton
has headed the Southeastern
Fair association be has carried
through many improvements that
have added much to the beauty and
advantage of Lakewood as an ex
position ground, but no year has
seen as much improvement as will
be noted when the Educational Ex
position and Fair opens for the
week of October 4-11. All the
buildings have been re-conditioned
and renovated throughout, redec
orated and installed with Neon
lighting that will add much to the
beauty of the exhibits and the at
mosphere of the surroundings.
All the permanent fixtures on
the grounds have been thoroughly
re-conditioned and repainted to
make the scene this year one of
imposing color. Parking facilities
have been improved and the whole
fair and exposition should be a dis
tinct pleasure from the time you

Southeastern Fair each year at
Lakewood in Atlanta, but never
before have the people of Georgia

an exposition and fair that will
offer as much beauty and instruc
tion as will be seen this year dur
