SCHOOL PROGRAM
For Chattooga County Fair
Thursday Night, October 27, 7:15
A recitation and declamation contest will be held in the new
High School Auditorium. Each school must have grammar and high
school represented in the contest. There will be a 3-minute limit
on each grammar school speech, and a limit of 4 minutes for high
school speeches. In addition to above, the high schools will contest
in High School Chorus. This chorus from each school limited to 18
members, and may be male, female, or mixed voices and also
limited to two numbers. There will be a small admission charge of
10 and 15 cents, the proceeds going to the schools participating. In
addition to the above, each school participating in the contests will
receive equal share of the prize money—the total sum of $21.25.

The high schools of the county will contest in best one-act Plays
at the new High School Auditorium. Each school will be limited to
a play 30 minutes in length. A charge of 10 and 15 cents will be
made the proceeds going to schools participating. All schools tak
ing part in the one-act Play contest will share equally in the prize
money offered by the Fair Association—the total sum prizes for this
event being $21.25. Program will begin at 7 p. m. Any school
more than 15 minutes late must forfeit their places, and the prize
money will be redistributed among those schools narticipating.
