BASTIN-WYATT.
Announcement has been made of
the marriage of Miss Celine Bastin
212 Northwest Twelfth street, Okla
homa City, Okla., to Euclid Milner
Wyatt, which took place at 5:30 o’-
clock Saturday afternoon at the First
Presbyterian church in El Reno.
The bride is the sister of Lovie
Bastin Ardmore, and Mr. Wyatt is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Wyatt,
of Menlo.
The vows were read by the Rev.
G. G. Mowry, pastor of the First
Presbyterian church there, in the
presence of Mr. and Mrs. J. Eugene
Smith, of New York City, and other
close friends.
The bride wore a costume suit of
dubonnet wool with a gray caracul
jacket and dubonnet accessories. Her
corsage was of archids.
Mrs. Smith wore a suit of Eleanor
blue, with black accessories and a
corsage was of orchids.
The couple will live at 212 North
west Twelfth street, Oklahoma City.
BIRTHDAY PARTY.
Mrs. Eva Cook entertained with a
lovely party Saturday afternoon, hon
oring her son, Eugene, on his ninth
birthday.
The children were entertained witl
interesting contests and games, after
which delicious refreshments were
served.
Mrs. Cook was assisted in enter
taining by her sister, Mrs. O. L. Head.

Mrs. Michael Quinn, of Chattanooga,
were guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. A.

Trion Defeats Summerville

A crowd of excited Chattoogans
saw Trion outplay a fighting Sum
merville team last night. With 782
paid admissions, there were approxi
mately 1,500 present. Coaches Hoyt

from their own 43. With Tallent run
ning beautifully and his pass to
Headrick was good for 36 yards, they
penetrated to the 17. Tallent took
it over on the third play. His buck
for extra point failed. Score, Trion,
7; S. H. S., 6.
Trion, not to be outdone, scored
without losing the ball. McCauley
took the kick-off and ran it back to
the Trion 45. A few plays later
Floyd passed to McCauley, who was
knocked out of bounds on the S. H.
S. 8-yard line. After three plays
Thompson went off tackle for an
other Bulldog touchdown. A nice
piece of headwork by Thompson
netted the extra point. Pierce’s kick
was blocked, but with players walk
ing back to line up he picked up the
ball and crossed the goalline.
Score at half: Trion, 14; S. H.
S„ 6.
At the half the Trion band formed
a huge “S” in front of the Summer
ville stands. The band rendered sev
eral pieces, including both schools
alma maters.
Trion took the kick-off and from
their 47 Vernon drove in two plays
to the 31. Tate, the shifty Bulldog,
snaked 31 yards for the score. Pierce’s
kick was low. Score, Trion, 20; S.
H. S., 6.
The next touchdown followed quick
