In Fashion Now.
And now we hear that Hollywood
is paying no heed to the hairdressers’
decree of upswept hair. We are not
surprised, for the women who can
wear their hair on top and still look
their best are in the minority.
But, after all, the upswept hair for
evening is rather smart looking if
it is not too severely done. Ringlets
and soft curls near the ears and soft
waves at the nape of the neck modi
fy the extreme new style.
However, we hear that Norma
Shearer is sporting a Dutch bob,
while Greta Garbo and Ginger Rogers
are going around with their crown
ing glory almost touching their shoul
ders.
