Mrs. Paul Weems spent the week-end
in Columbus, Ga. Rose Neel Weems, who
has been there for several weeks, return
ed home with her.

The Daily Vacation Bible school will
have a picnic Friday at 10 a.m. at the
church. Commencement exercises will be
held Sunday night. An interesting pro
gram has been planned.

Tuesday night at 7:30 in the social hall

be in charge of the program. The follow

dist church is sponsoring a Variety show
at the high school auditorium Friday
evening at 7 :30 o’clock.
I The winner of the kiddie contest will
■ be announced and awarded a loving cun.

at either drug store, but not later than
o’clock Friday night. Vote now and

There will also be a scholarship con
test, and the boy or girl receiving the
most votes will go to a state contest to

Mrs. Baker Farrar has returned home
after being in Meridian, Miss., for sev
eral weeks during the illness and death
of her father, Dr. A. A. Little. Mrs. A.
A. Little will return with her daughter
to make her home in Summerville.

getting aong nicely following an appen
dix operation at the Riegel hospital in
Trion, and her friends h»pe she will soon
be able to return to her home.

to return to her home at Menlo the lat
ter part of this week after having under
gone an appendix operation at the Riegel
hospital in Trion last week.
