Announcement of the engagement and
approaching marriage of Miss Sybil
Cochran, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
T. Cochran, to Overton Faubus, of Dal
las, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Faubus,
of 1905 Proctor avenue, was made Sat
urday evening when Mrs. Cochran held
open house at their home, 1310 North
Twelfth street. The wedding will take
place Oct. 28 in Dallas.
Miss Cochran received her early edu
cation in the public schools at Summer
ville, Ga., and later attended Randolph
college at Cisco. Mr. Faubus received his
education in the Waco public schools
and attended A. and M. college, where
he was graduated in 1939. The couple
will make their home in Dallas where
Mr. Faubus is employed.

nooga, Were gubsts of Mr. and Mrs. J.
