ABOUT ROTARY
PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT SAYS:
“Thinking of Rotary, I visualize
t series of concentric circles which,
starting with the smallest and go
ng to the largest, I denominate as
he community, national, and inter
national influence. In the center
( see Rotary International as a
generating force of incalculable val
le in creating civic and interna
ional consciousness. The healing
■pirit and uplifting influence o:
Rotary are sorely needed in the
vorld today. Standing as it does
or inherent honesty, fair dealing
;rderly justice, and the rights and
vorth of the individual and the
leiinite obligations of the individ
ml to society and of society to the
Individual, I see Rotary in this
ver-shrinking world as a power
ful stabalizing factor designed to
secure common understanding and
imong nations. I bespeak for
Rotary International a continuous
ly increasing effectiveness and
power.”
