livestock while at the fair. To be eligible for any prize, your
stock must be on the fair grounds by 3 o’clock, C. W. T.. Wednes
day. October 13, and remain on fair grounds until Saturday morn
ing, October 16. Livestock will be judged Thursday afternoon at
1:00, C. W. T. See Rule 8. „

best all-round Club Boys in the County who are 14 years of age,
or over, and have at least three years of Club work, including the
current year. This choice is based upon the individual’s Club
achievements, leadership and records for the past year. This
scholarship must be used to attend the State 4-H Leadership
Conference. SIO.OO expenses and transportation to the County
Agent.
All exhibits must be made by bona fide members of the reg
ular organized Clubs and shown in this class only.

GENERAL RULES
FOR CHATTOOGA COUNTY FAIR
(These Rules Are To Be Strictly Adhered To)
1. The Chattooga County Fair will open its gates to the
public at 4 o’clock Wednesday, October 13.
2. All exhibits must be in place by 4 o’clock Wednesday,
C. W. T.
3. All exhibits must be left in place until 9 o’clock a.m.,
Saturday, Oct. 16. Fair officials will not be responsible for ex
hibits after 12 o’clock Saturday.
4. Awards will be designated by ribbons, but premiums will
be paid according to records in the judges’ books. Often ribbons
are misplaced or changed by persons having no authority.
5. Judging will begin at 10 o’clock Thursday, Oct. 14, C. W. T.
6. Certain persons will be stationed in the exhibit areas to
safeguard exhibits and every other reasonable precaution wjII
be taken to protect the exhibits, but it must be understood that
the exhibits are entered in competition for prizes and the owners
assume all responsibility for any accident, loss or damage that
may occur. Neither the Fair Association, its officers or agents,
will be responsible for any such accident, loss or damage.
7. Each exhibitor, be sure the head of your department gets
your correct name and address and rural route number. If an
exhibitor is under 21 years of age, be sure to give YOUR PAR.
ENT’S INITIALS so premiums will be mailed to the proper person.
8. All livestock exhibits will be shown in ring and will be
judged on quality of livestock and showing condition.
9. All stands, churches, P.-T. A., Schools, etc., in and outside
gates will be charged $lO and receive 3 free passes.
10. Exclusive bread and cake rights have been sold to Colo
nial Baking Co. All stands must trade exclusively with this Com
pany. (Wholesale Prices).
11. All premiums will be paid in War Stamps and Bonds.
ADMISSION CHARGES
Charges for admission to grounds will be as follows:
Persons over 12 years of age 25c
Children 5 to 12 years of ate 15c
School Day, Oct. 15, school childrenloc
Business passes will be issued to retail merchants who make
deliveries.
FREE PASSES: (1) All livestock exhibitors will receive free
passes. (2) For all other exhibits, any person exhibiting three
worthy exhibits will receive free pass in and out gates; passes
will be good only for entering gates three times dally.
