SPORTS
The Summerville school girls
played the Summerville faculty Fri
day night in basket ball. The girls
enjoyed the game very much, and,
I’m sure, the faculty did. Through
out the game, the score was almost
a tie. At the end of the game the
score was School Girls 39, Faculty
38. High scorers for the Faculty
was Majors with 17 points and for
the Girls, Phillips with 21 points.
The Summerville Indians lost to
the Berry boys Friday night by a
score of 18 to 14. The boys played
a very good game the first half,
and held the Berry boys down, but
in the last half the Berry boys got
the lead. Although the Indians
tried hard, they were outplayed by
their opponents.
