from an attack of bronchial pneu
monia.
Mrs. Jenille Hardy and Miss
Matilda Mills, of Lindale, will spend
this week-end in Savannah.
Mr. and Mrs. Sam C. Thompson,
of Miami, and their son, Conway,
who was recently discharged from
the army, were recent visitors of
Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Thomason and
family.

GI discharge papers.
Mrs. John B. Echols has been ap
pointed as a second grade teacher
in the Summerville schools to fill
the vacancy caused by the resigna
tion of Mrs. C. B. Ayers.
Mrs. Frank Fisher is visiting her
daughter, Mrs. R. M. Lee, and Mr.
Lee in Newnan.
Mrs. E. L. Worsham has returned
from Lindale, where she has been
at the bedside of her grandson,
John Mills, who is slowly recover
ing from a serious illness.
