JAMES A. PERRY '
Friends of James A. Pe.ry in <
this country are extremely active ]
in Perry’s race for re-nomination <
to the Georgia Public Service ]
Commission, a place which he j
has held for many years.
They point to Perry’s record in !
office as a reason for support of i
him by the voters, and empha- ]
size that this record makes him 1
the best man for the place.
According to Perry supporters, ;
be has always sought to hold
clown utility and freight rates in
the state, and was a leader in
the fight for rural electrification
in Georgia.
He cast the deciding vote in
favor of the beginning of the
generation of hydro-electric cur
rent in the Hallulah Falls and
Blue Ridge sections of the state,
and fought vigorously to effect
the piping of natural gas into
Georgia.
James A. Perry is experienced
in the highly technical work of
the Commission, his friends say,
and sincere in his efforts to
render service to the people of
Georgia.
